The book aims to understand the current cell structure and functions defined by molecular biology techniques, as well as to associate developing cellular disorders with clinical implications. The content of the book has been prepared based on the medical biology course topics of the Faculty of Medicine.

I would like to thank the esteemed administrators of Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa and Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine for their support in the publication of this book within the scope of the 100 books project on the 100th anniversary of our Republic.
