Landscape Architecture and Art: Yesterday’s Interpretation, Today’s Perception and Future’s Expectat
The origin of landscape architecture lie in the understanding of how the environment is built and what makes yesterday's places unique and artistic. Today, Landscape Architecture, in addition to artistic and technical aspects for a more livable world, raises awareness of environmental problems, the main problem of our age. By modelling nature and shaping the face of the world, it plans the future in the section where it acts on the basis of ecology.
In this context, the book, which assimilates concepts such as “landscape”, “art”, “history”, “garden”, “culture and civilization”, “architecture”, “ecology and sustainability”, each of which are fields of power in their own right, tries to provide the opportunity to look at Landscape Architecture and Art from a broad perspective and to establish a connection between the past, present and future.
The book has been prepared for adults who will choose a profession, landscape architects taking basic courses, architects, interior architects and environmental design students, professionals, nature and art lovers with the belief that it will shed light on the works to be done later, like every work prepared.
With the hope that the book titled "LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AND ART: YESTERDAY'S INTERPRETATION, TODAY'S PERCEPTION AND FUTURE’S EXPECTATION", prepared with a lot of effort and dedication, will be useful and guiding for all readers.
With respect to the leaders who contribute to the development of the profession and shed light.
