Forensic Genetics Applications

While we are experiencing the pride and excitement of reaching the 100th anniversary of Turkish Republic, the advances made in the field of forensic genetics in this century full of scientific and technological developments have given great momentum to the field. Forensic genetics, one of the most important subdisciplines of forensic sciences, is of great importance in resolving legal disputes and clarifying criminal events. Examining biological evidence with genetic analysis, without losing its quality as evidence, and using it to identify innocent people who are involved in a crime or are alleged to be involved in a crime, constitute the basis of forensic genetic studies. This book titled "Forensic Genetics Applications" aims to bring you the basic information in this important field and to present the evolution of forensic genetic studies from past to present.

Forensic genetics has a critical role in analyzing evidence in criminal cases and contributing to judicial processes. Our book discusses in detail how this process works, what techniques are used, and how these techniques help to ensure justice.

Our authors are experts in their fields and examine in depth the pioneering work on forensic genetics and its international contributions. Thus, with forensic genetic applications, it is possible to shed light on both the past and the future and illuminate the mysteries that remain in the dark.

We are very pleased to present this work, which brings together the great achievements and future potentials in the field of forensic genetics, to you, our valued readers, on the 100th anniversary of Turkis Republic.
